Filming has now been completed on Philip Noyce's 'Hotstuff' which has been shooting since August on location in South Africa. This political thriller, set in a turbulent and divided South Africa in the nineteen eighties and the present day, is based on the true story of Patrick Chamusso, an ordinary man forced to resort to terror. Patrick Chamusso is played by Derek Luke (Antwone Fischer) and is joined by Academy Award winner Tim Robbins (Shawshank Redemption, Mystic River) and Bonnie Mbuli (Drum). Hotstuff is written by Shawn Slovo and produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Anthony Minghella and Robyn Slovo. Sydney Pollack serves as executive producer.
