Moona Naushahi

I’ve been working with the TV development team, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth running of the office. No day is identical but could include diary management, answering calls that come in, greeting guests and carrying out research tasks. I also get the opportunity to read scripts and books which is super exciting, as it is a chance to have my say on what I think has potential! There’s a really great energy at Working Title and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Action! experience so far.

I’ve been on development for the first few months which has been hectic but really exciting. No two days are the same: sometimes I’m arranging meetings, others I’m summarizing books or reading and reporting on scripts. I’ve particularly enjoyed being part of team meetings, where we discuss the slate of potential projects and the amazing writers and filmmakers we’re working with to bring them to life.

I’m currently supporting the production team, and being right in the midst of the production office has been fantastic. We are working on multiple films, all at different stages of production, so I am seeing the whole film-making process first-hand. Each day is different – I could be talking to agents, arranging travel for location scouts, sourcing studio space, or even helping out on-set at castings – which has been so much fun.
