ATONEMENT NOMINATED FOR SEVEN ACADEMY AWARDS
'Atonement' has today been nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including a nomination for Best Picture. The full list of nominations for 'Atonement' is as follows:
Best picture - Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner and Paul Webster, Producers.
Best supporting actress - Saoirse Ronan.
Achievement in art direction - Art Direction: Sarah Greenwood; Set Decoration: Katie Spencer.
Achievement in cinematography - Seamus McGarvey.
Achievement in costume design - Jacqueline Durran.
Best original score - Dario Marianelli.
Adapted screenplay - Christopher Hampton.
'Elizabeth: The Golden Age' has been nominated for two Academy Awards:
Best actress - Cate Blanchett.
Achievement in costume design - Alexandra Byrne.
