JOHNNY ENGLISH - BOX OFFICE SMASH
A simultaneous international launch for spy spoof JOHNNY ENGLISH saw the film take $20 million in its opening weekend hitting the number one spot in 20 of the 22 countries it played. Still to open in Japan, the film has totalled a whopping $146 million at the international box office.
Rowan Atkinson stars as Johnny English, a bungling secret agent on a mission to recover Britain's stolen Crown Jewels. John Malkovich and Natalie Imbruglia also star.
