After her husband dies, Rebecca (Elizabeth Perkins) is surrounded by a support group of friends and relatives who help her get over her loss. However each of the women have their own problems, and when a handsome painter is hired to spruce up the house, the four women begin to peel away their own layers, and get back to the essence of who they are.
